Sagi Art

Sagi began her studies at the Academy of Art in Utrecht Holland. Sagi earned her D.A. (Diploma of Arts) degree at the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland.
After moving to the United States, Sagi studied art history at Carnegie Melon, Pittsburgh, where she earned her B.A. degree.  She then completed her M.A. degree at Cal State Northridge, California.

Now Sagi teaches and paint at her Sunnyvale studio.

For her painting is “the union of nature and spirit”.
She says:

"I woke up one morning, knowing that it would be a beautiful day. Suddenly I noticed two magnificent blue birds with cobalt wings and ultra marine bellies.

The next evening, I was walking home in melancholy. I noticed four black crows on a tree near the front door. I searched for the blue birds in desperation, but they had left me.

I take in my paintings from my surroundings. Naturally, my surroundings reflect my moods, my perceptions, and my fantasies. I harmonize my colors to capture the moment and to create my atmosphere.

Each of us has the ability to see the world with our own inner vision. And each of us has endless potential of emotional drama and personal expression. Let us have a love affair with our world."
